HIV/STI Prevention and Awareness Program

In partnership with Solano County Public Health to implement a comprehensive HIV/STI Prevention and Awareness Program aimed at reducing the prevalence of HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in Solano County.
Program Goals:
- Achieve a 10% reduction in reported HIV/STI cases in Solano County by June 2025.
- Equip 100% of BrandGOV’s internal marketing team with harm reduction and HIV/STI prevention training.
- Build partnerships with five local organizations to expand outreach efforts.
- Staff Training: Ensure all marketing staff are certified in harm reduction, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and HIV/STI prevention strategies.
- Community Outreach: Launch three targeted media campaigns, conduct outreach at six sites (including virtual engagements), and distribute culturally sensitive educational materials.
- Resource Development: Create community resources and protocols to sustain prevention and control efforts.
- Education Materials: Develop and distribute ten culturally tailored resources promoting safe practices, testing, and self-referrals for PrEP.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement a data-driven evaluation process to measure success and refine strategies.

The program targets high-risk populations in Solano County, including young adults, African American and Hispanic communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with limited healthcare access.
